Translational Life Science Technology

UMBC’s Bachelor of Science in Translational Life Science Technology (TLST)* is a unique degree designed for students who want to be competitive in the bioscience world of today and tomorrow. This degree combines the theory of a traditional life science degree with real-world applications used by scientists in academic and industry research.

*Please note that this degree can only be earned at the UMBC at the Universities at Shady Grove campus in Rockville, MD. Transfer students may go directly into the program at UMBC at Shady Grove. First-year students may also pursue this degree, but will most likely need to begin at the main UMBC campus and ultimately transition down to the UMBC at Shady Grove campus in Rockville, MD.
