Applying for Readmission to UMBC?
Students with completed coursework at UMBC as degree-seeking undergraduates who have interrupted continuous registration for two or more regular semesters, and who left UMBC in good academic standing, may apply for readmission in order to return.
You should apply early in order to take full advantage of early registration, advising, and course availability. If you attended any other school(s) since leaving UMBC, you must submit an official transcript from each college or university attended. Your readmission cannot be approved until all official documents are received.
Candidates for readmission must submit the following:
- A completed UMBC Undergraduate Readmission Application
- A $50 non-refundable application fee
- Official transcripts from all schools attended since your last enrollment at UMBC
- All university debts must be settled by the appropriate deadlines
*Students whose most recent enrollment at UMBC ended with a cumulative GPA below 2.0 must apply for reinstatement.
