Concurrent Enrollment for High School Students
Concurrent enrollment is available for academically strong students who wish to enroll part-time at UMBC and earn college credits while still attending high school. To enroll at UMBC concurrently, students must present an academic profile comparable to that of our average admitted first-year student.
To be considered for admission as a concurrent enrollment student, please submit the following:
- Complete a non-degree seeking application
- Submit a $50 non-refundable application fee
- Submit a high school transcript (unofficial records will be considered)
- Request a letter of recommendation and permission to enroll from your high school guidance counselor
