Virtual Black & Gold Information Session and Student Panel

Can’t make it to campus? No problem; we’ll bring #RetrieverNation to you!

We invite you and any guests to join us for a virtual information session and student panel from the comfort of home or work. A member of our admissions team will share information on academics, student life, career outcomes, scholarships, the application process, and more, while current students will discuss their experiences at UMBC and what makes them proud to be a Retriever. There will be ample time during and after the presentation for Q&A, and next steps will be provided for all attendees. A link to the virtual meeting will be shared upon successful registration.

*Please note: If you are already enrolled at UMBC for the Fall 2025 semester, you will receive all relevant information at your New Student Orientation this summer. This webinar is for those still deciding on whether to apply to or attend UMBC.

Life as a Retriever

Experience life as a UMBC Retriever for a day! Connect with current students, explore campus resources, attend sessions of interest to you, take a campus tour, and enjoy a discounted lunch in our dining hall. Student attendees will also have the chance to attend a mock course led by our innovative faculty, while guests can learn helpful college application and admissions tips from our staff.

*Please note that this event is for prospective first-year students only. Prospective transfer students are encouraged to join us at the October 25th Retriever Day and/or our mid-November Transfer Open House.
