Join us on campus to find out what it means to be a Retriever! Attendees will learn about the first-year or transfer admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, campus resources and student organizations, the Honors College and Scholars Programs, and more. You will also have the chance to connect with Deans and faculty, tour campus with current students, and explore your next steps.

It’s never too early to think about transferring! Join UMBC’s transfer admissions team, campus support staff, and current students as we help provide you with a roadmap to becoming a Retriever – whenever that may be for you.
Attendees will be able to learn more about the application process, explore financial aid and scholarship opportunities, connect with academic departments and co-curricular offices, and review how their credits may transfer to their UMBC degree. Optional campus tours will also be provided.
Parking: Complimentary parking will be available. Details will be sent upon registration.
Event Check-In: Check-in will take place in the Fine Arts Building Recital Hall lobby. There will be signage and staff present to guide you to the event, a 5 minute walk from the lot. If you’d like to take a pre-event student-led campus tour, please arrive to the Recital Hall lobby by 3:00 p.m. If you are not interested in the pre-event tour, please aim to arrive at 3:45 p.m., as the event welcome will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m.

Join a staff member from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation for a 30-minute information session covering UMBC traditions and values, application requirements, and opportunities for funding your education. After the information session, you will have an opportunity to take a student-guided tour of campus with our Grit Guides.
